We are a passionate, dynamically-developing team. Since 2010, acting on behalf of the medical industry, we have completed numerous projects and conducted unique trainings. We specialize especially in these unusual, requiring individual approach and unconventional solutions. Many pharmaceutical and medical device companies and other healthcare institutions have trusted us.

Our team’s strength is many years of experience in both Polish and international projects. We support our business partners at all stages of the reimbursement process, including designing Market Access strategies, developing health economics analyses and HTA, during negotiations and in monitoring the implementation of public funding, including contracting of services and their settlement with the payer. In the latter, professional experience gained in public institutions and while working with healthcare providers helps us a lot. We also specialize in advising Medical and Marketing departments on the use of credible scientific information and technology in communication.

We focus primarily on the substantive quality of projects and the use of modern technologies.

Key People

Michał Seweryn - President at EconMed Europe, PhD in Health Economics, specialist in public health and epidemiology. He specialises in health economics, HTA and medicine management. An Expert of the European Commission, a long-term lecturer at HTA and health economics - assistant at Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University (2009-2016). In the past, he was the Head of the Department of Drug Administration of the MOW National Health Fund and the Provincial Sanitary Inspector.

Karolina Skóra - Vice President at EconMed Europe. MPH and MSc graduate with over 13 years of experience in Healthcare, Market Access, EBM and HTA. In the period 2016-2020 Chief Operating Officer, and earlier Bussiness Development Manager at Arcana Institute. In years 2012-2014 held the function of Managing Director at Watch Health Care Foundation. She was EBM and HTA lecturer at CEESTAHC. Karolina also worked for HTA Audit and Meritum L.A. Author of many publications in the field of healthcare.

Joanna Augustyńska - Vice President at Econmed Europe. Since 2007 she has expertise in the field of Health Technology Assessment and Market Access. For 11 years was employed in Institute Arcana, responsible for making HTA reports, economic evaluations, cost studies and other market access analysis. She has also great training experience in the area of Evidence Based Medicine and pricing. Master degree in economics obtained at the Cracov Uniwersity of Economics.

Anna Łuc-Seweryn – Attorney-at-Law, Approved Compliance Officer (ACO), Approved AML Compliance Officer (AMLCO). Has experience in civil, administrative, medical and pharmaceutical law. As part of servicing entities from the medical and pharmaceutical industry, she specializes in creating procedures under compliance management systems based on the ISO 19600 Standard, consisting of assessing the company's compliance with legal regulations.

CUSTOMERS

We support mainly pharmaceutical companies and medical device industries. We have also worked upon the order of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System, hospitals and founders.
